Much of the work in these five ‘rooms’ represents aspects of a dancer’s experience. There are many different ways of visually portraying this environment. These images are inspired by the art’s ephemeral quality; and yet they are inspired movements that not only challenge the aspect of time, but also contains within them the instantly recognisable look that repeats with every generation of dancers. This is the boundary, which I wish to explore; one that is charged with contradictions, and extremes of the dancer’s spirit.
